Portraits Drawn From Photographs, Murals, Faux Finishes, Commissioned Work

I have always been a creative person. Drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting-you name it, I have tried it. My favorites are taking a simple photograph and turning it into a piece of art drawing a portrait and sewing.

My Shop says Sewing and Gifts, but I draw beautiful portraits from photographs, make lighted canvas works and sew wallets, wristlets and phone cases.

Here is my story:

Never a fan of pink, the color has touched my life in many ways. It was my oldest daughter’s favorite color. Just about everything she owned was either denim or pink. Sadly, she left us for Heaven in a tragic accident at the age of 18 in 2007.

A few years later, just after Christmas 2010 (a month before turning 40), I was shockingly diagnosed with Stage IIb, Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and again, the color pink came to my rescue.

I am blessed to be sharing my love for pink with my customers. The pink zippers are for my sweet daughter who loved the color so much and the Pink Warriors that are faced with and fighting this scary disease. As an added bonus, a percentage of each order with pink zippers  will be donated to the local Breast Cancer organization that has helped me and my family so much!

Thank you all for your support and I look forward to creating my art for each and every one of you!
